COUTINHO GONCALVES BRUNO JOAO is a small clothing business working out of Fernão Ferro, on the Setúbal peninsula south of Lisbon. We started with a simple idea: keep the rail short and know every piece on it. Instead of chasing trends across a hundred styles, we choose a handful of dresses and cardigans each season, wear them, wash them, and only then write the product page.
Our dresses are cut for real evenings and real summers — lined where it matters, with necklines that stay where they are put and hems that do not need constant adjusting. The knitwear is mid-weight and ribbed at the trims, designed to layer over a slip dress in June and under a coat in November. Fabrics are chosen for how they behave after ten washes, not just how they photograph on day one.
Orders are packed by hand in Fernão Ferro and dispatched within one to two business days. Every item carries the Portuguese legal guarantee of conformity, and we accept returns for thirty days.
